Seriously one of the best Pancheros restaurants. They get it right the first time, every time. Solid staff and food! I made the mistake of going to a lesser Pancheros (Clinton St.) and had an awful experience all around. Makes me grateful for the Riverside location. Keep up the great work.

Gangsta. Almost like this place better than the downtown location. Quicker service, cleaner, no drunkies. We did see Marcus Coker there the day he was suspended for the Insight Bowl -- guess we all need to stress eat every now and then. Chipotle has nothing on this place simply because of the better tortillas made fresh in front of you as well as their house "queso sauce," a must have.

Good food, not as great as Chipotle though. Not as many options, but I do like the fresh made tortillas.

Mexican restaurant with actual mexican workers...wow. in iowa? Any way, burritos are best bang for your buck about 6 bucks for a 5 lbs burrito.

if you want to experience food service expediency like it's supposed to be, come here. i feel like i'm in california again. in the same time it took for us to get our made-to-order burritos, our drinks, pay and sit down, get up because we forgot our utensils and napkins, come back to sit, we would barely be getting our first hello at another iowa restaurant. much respect to the staff there for showing what hardworking people are supposed to be like. we had a coupon and scored a free burrito. not the most legit place for authentic food, but sure a good eat if you're just looking to satisfy your hunger. get the main dishes, don't get the chips & queso or salsa...that's where they make their money.

While the food is the same as all locations, the service is quicker at this location.

Best Burritos in town. Way much better than Chipotle. Fresh tortillas and ingredients.

Great place to get something good to eat. Very friendly and fast service. Lot of young people come through here. Some hang out so I'm going on. Second time here. Enjoy the tacos if I'm not that hungry. I'm really not that hungry then I'll get something else. I save the burrito for the big time.

Not authentic but I've seen numerous Mexican workers eating here. Straightforward menu. You pick the style (burrito, taco, quesadilla...) then the fillings. Burrito is the best deal IMHO. They do charge for "extra" ingredients like guacamole. Overall, decent place to eat if you are hungry. and need a filling meal for a few bucks.

Very bland....and what's up with them mixing up and tossing all the burrito ingredients together??? Totally grossed out when I saw the guy messing with my food!! Was not impressed at all. Food was very bland and mediocre at best. I did not enjoy it al all. Points off for the garbage laying on the floor near the sink... Not a very appealing picture for customers to see when ordering their food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
